This flag was designed by those with a desire for the restoration of the Mexican Constitution of 1824. It is the green, white and red tricolor from the Mexican flag with the black numerals 1824 supplanting the central Mexican eagle. Legend has it that this flag flew over the Alamo, but is not supported by historical evidence. The reality is that the 1824 Flag has a valid place in Texas history but only as a flag of reconciliation. This barnwood framed flag measures approximately 41"W x 30"H and is available for shipping.
